The Questions Most People Ask First
If yours isn’t here, call us, we’d rather talk it through than have you guess.
What's the difference between IOP and PHP?
PHP (Partial Hospitalization) is a more structured daytime program, typically 5 days per week. IOP (Intensive Outpatient) meets fewer hours per week.
Do you take my insurance?
We work with most major commercial plans. The intake team will verify your specific benefits before your first visit.
How long does treatment last?
It varies by person and program. PHP and IOP plans are reviewed regularly with you.
Can my teen continue school?
Many adolescent participants continue school in some capacity. We’ll talk through scheduling during intake.
Can family be involved?
Yes, family involvement is part of our adolescent programs and available for adults when helpful.
What does intake look like?
It starts with a confidential phone call to get you scheduled for an intake. From there, one of our clinicians conducts the intake itself, so you’re getting the highest quality recommendation from the very first conversation. We take the time to get to know you, build trust, and really understand what’s going on before placing you in a program.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is required. You can reach our intake team directly.
Where are you located?
We have four locations in the Fresno area: River Park, Fig Garden, Shaw & 41, and Visalia.
If you or someone you know is in crisis:
Call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or call 911. Vitalize is an outpatient program and does not provide 24/7 emergency services.
