Mood Disorders
When your moods don’t move on a normal scale, when the highs and lows run your week, care can help you see the pattern, ride it more gently, and find more solid ground.
What Does Mood Disorders Look
Like and How Do We Meet It?
What Can It Look Like?
- Highs and lows that don't track with what's actually happening in your life
- Sleep that swings with your mood, wired one week, exhausted the next
- Stretches of irritability, racing thoughts, or making decisions you later regret
- Long stretches of low motivation, pulling back, not wanting to be seen
- Mood shifts that keep getting in the way of work, school, or the people you love
How Do We Help?
Therapy and psychiatry working together, plus skills to spot shifts early, built for the long arc of your life, not just this week.
Where Does Care Live?
Care lives inside these programs:
Steadier Weeks and Fewer Blindsides
Living with mood that doesn’t follow normal rules takes a kind of care that doesn’t either. Therapy and psychiatry work together here, one team, one plan, so you can stop being the one holding all the pieces and start finding more solid ground.

Frequently Asked Questions
Don’t see what you’re looking for? Call us, we’d rather talk than have you guess.
What counts as a mood disorder?
Mood disorders include bipolar I and II, cyclothymia, persistent depressive disorder, and other patterns of significant mood shifts that affect daily life. An assessment helps clarify what’s actually going on.
Do I need a diagnosis before I start?
No. Many people come in unsure of what to call what they’re experiencing. Our clinicians assess carefully and won’t label you with something that doesn’t fit.
Is medication required for mood disorders?
For some mood disorders, especially bipolar, medication is often a key part of stability. Our psychiatric team works alongside therapy so the plan is coordinated, not piecemeal.
Will I always have this?
Many mood disorders are chronic but very manageable. The goal is stability, fewer and milder episodes, and the skills to catch shifts early, not a ‘cure’ you white-knuckle alone.
Do you take my insurance?
We accept most major insurance plans and verify your benefits before your first visit so there are no surprises.
