Group Therapy
A small room of people who get it, guided by a clinician, focused on something real each time. It’s where a lot of the actual shift tends to happen.
What Does This Actually Look Like?
What Will You Learn?
Small groups, a licensed clinician guiding the room, a clear focus each time, and space to be a real person.
Why Does It Help?
You hear yourself in other people. You practice skills with someone besides your therapist. You feel less alone.
Where Does It Live?
Group is the heart of our IOP and PHP, not an add-on.
Not Being the Only One Changes Things
Groups here are small enough to be real, guided enough to go somewhere, and warm enough that you’ll want to come back. It’s where a lot of the actual shift tends to happen.

Frequently Asked Questions
Don’t see what you’re looking for? Call us, we’d rather talk than have you guess.
What is group therapy like at Vitalize?
Our groups are small, facilitated by licensed clinicians, and built around a clear topic or skill each session. Expect a mix of teaching, discussion, and practice.
Is group therapy as effective as individual therapy?
For many concerns, research shows group therapy is just as effective, and the shared experience and peer support often add something individual work can’t.
What if I'm nervous about sharing in a group?
That’s normal. Groups are designed to feel safe and supportive, and you’re never required to share more than you’re ready to.
How big are the groups?
Groups are intentionally kept small so every member has space to participate and connect with the clinician and peers.
Is group therapy confidential?
Yes. Confidentiality is a core ground rule, and clinicians review expectations with every group.
